1210.01 | Basic Policy

The Board of Trustees has determined that it is in the best interest of the school district that each facility have staff member(s) that can assist in the case of a medical emergency by being properly trained in CPR/AED and first aid skills. A minimum of two staff members in each facility will be required to have such training. A list of such qualified staff members shall be maintained and posted in each school office. Training responsibilities will be managed by the district nurse. A record of completion of such training will be placed in each staff member’s personnel file who completes the training. Refreshers for such training must be completed minimally every two years. The District will provide this training at no cost to an individual who has been recommended by the building administration, and approved by the superintendent, to meet this requirement,
