The Board supports the philosophy of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. Student health and satisfaction should be the primary concern of the district’s food service program. The Student Nutrition Supervisor shall provide wholesome and nutritious lunches and breakfasts for district students.
The food service program will meet state requirements and the standards of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program.
Any decision to enter a contract with a private food service agency shall require the approval of the Board.
Expenditures for food and supplies should not exceed the estimated revenues.
