Leave with full pay for as long as five (5) days annually shall be allowed for death in the immediate family. (Immediate family is defined as any of the following: spouse, significant other, children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew.) Personal leave and/or sick leave may be used if the annual five days of bereavement leave have been exhausted. One day with full pay shall be allowed for death of a person other than the immediate family.
