If the Board of Trustees determines that a Reduction in Force in fact will be implemented, the Superintendent will submit a list of certificated employees  recommended for release through use of the above process.  Certificated employees on Category 2, 3, or renewable contract status must be notified in writing by July 1 that they are not being recommended for retention in accordance with the provisions of this policy.  All releases shall be carried out in conformance with the applicable provisions of Idaho Code and all affected teachers will be promptly notified, in writing, following formal action of the Board of Trustees.
