4128.00 | Investigation of a Harassment Complaint

  1. Any allegation of harassment of any type, including but not limited to sexual harassment, will be promptly investigated in a confidential manner so as to protect the privacy of all individuals involved.
  2. Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the investigatory process to the extent practical and appropriate under the circumstances.
  3. Complaints will be investigated by the Superintendent, the District’s Title IX Coordinator, or other designee.
  4. Upon completion of the investigation of a harassment complaint, the investigator will communicate his/her findings to the Superintendent.  If the complaint in any manner involves the Superintendent, the investigator’s findings will be submitted directly to the District’s Title IX Coordinator.
  5. If there is insufficient evidence to support the allegations, no record will be made of the allegation in the accused employee’s personnel file. If the findings of the investigation determine that harassment has occurred, the Board will be informed of the findings in executive session.
