The Board of Trustees may create and establish a general fund contingency reserve within the annual school district budget. Such general fund contingency shall not exceed five percent (5%) of the total general fund budget, or the equivalent value of one (1) support unit computed as required by
Idaho Code 33-1002, whichever is greater. Disbursements from said fund may be made by resolution from time to time as the Board of Trustees determine necessary for contingencies accumulated beyond the budgeted fiscal year. If any money remains in the contingency reserve, it shall be treated as an item of income in the following year’s budget per
