Moscow Mentors Advisory Board

Purpose: The purpose of the Moscow Mentor Program Advisory Board is to provide support and oversight for the school-based Moscow Mentor and Bear Buddies Programs. Moscow Mentors and Bear Buddies are trained adult and Moscow High School student volunteers who meet with elementary and junior high school students for an hour once each week during the school year. Mentors and Bear Buddies provide individual support for students involved in the program.

The Mentor Advisory Board members also assist at training and other developmental and social activities for the Mentors, Bear Buddies, and mentee families; provides input on budgetary issues; and assists in the recruitment and retention of mentors.

Meetings: The Moscow Mentor Program Advisory Board meets quarterly at the Moscow School District Office.
