If the Board enters into a contract for transportation services, the contractor and its employees shall operate in accordance with district policy and other such rules or laws which are applicable.
The contract shall be in writing on a form approved by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and a copy of the current contract will be provided to the Supervisor of Pupil Transportation Services in the Idaho Department of Education.
The Board shall select the contractor for transportation services following Idaho Code 33-1510 and district policies. The Board shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder keeping the protection of the student health and safety as a high priority.
