8090.00 | Investigating and Reporting of Accidents and Other Transportation Problems

Drivers shall report all school bus accidents to the Transportation Supervisor, who will then report the accident to the Superintendent, and other appropriate school officials, law enforcement, and the State Department of Education. The Uniform School Bus Accident or appropriate incident form shall be completed by the driver or Transportation Supervisor and submitted to the State Department of Education within fifteen (15) days of the school bus accident. Drivers may be required to submit to a drug test.  (See Policy 8040.03 in this section.)
