Student records will be available for inspection by parents/ guardians and eligible students upon written request. The request will be granted within a reasonable time not to exceed forty five (45) days. A copy of the records will be given to the parent/guardian or eligible student upon request. When a record contains information about students other than a parent/guardian's child or the eligible student, the parent/guardian or eligible student may not inspect and review the portion of the record that pertains to other students. Actual copying costs may be collected from the parent/guardian or student at the rate of ten cents (10¢) per page. (9-28-10)
When the student reaches eighteen (18) years of age, graduates from high school, marries, or enters military service, all rights and privileges accorded to the parent become exclusively those of the student. (3-29-07)
