The Special Services Director may enter into service agreements with neighboring districts to provide services for eligible exceptional children. The services provided may include special education and related services. Such agreements will include provisions as outlined in the State Department of Education “District-to-District Memorandum of Agreement for the Education of Exceptional Children.” Agreements will also include provisions for reimbursement of instructional and/or therapeutic costs specific to the students identified in the agreement. Consideration of agreements will include the respective service provider(s), building principal, and superintendent.
