Continuation of Soft Closure

CONTINUATION OF SOFT CLOSURE

Yesterday, the Idaho State Board of Education voted to extend the current soft closure of all Idaho K-12 public schools and charters through the end of local schools’ academic year. Moscow School District will continue the delivery of emergency remote learning and essential services as they have the past two weeks through the end of the District’s academic year ending on June 3, 2020. Below is the Idaho State Board of Education Motion on soft closure extension:

“I move to extend the soft closure to the end of each school districts and charter schools 2019-2020 academic school year or until such time as local and state social distancing orders have been lifted and re-entry criteria established by the <Idaho State> Board have been met.” The motion passed unanimously by the Idaho State Board of Education.
