All-Day Kindergarten is Here!
The Moscow School District Board of Trustees recently passed the request to provide all-day kindergarten in the Moscow School District. We are excited to provide this increased learning opportunity to our youngest students. This will provide a stronger educational foundation that will help these students throughout their education. April 1st will be the date parents will be able to contact the district office (208-892-1139) to schedule an appointment to register their child and have their child complete the kindergarten screening . The screening is to help teachers get to know the individual needs of the students and help answer questions parents might have to better ready their child for kindergarten.
Take the First Step and ASK!
The Moscow School District has always been committed to a safe environment for all children and to keep guns out of our schools. With this in mind I would like to make you aware of the Asking Saves Kids (ASK) Campaign that wants parents to remember if firearms are stored in the home to be sure they are secured appropriately. In addition, ask the question: Are there any unsecured firearms where your children are invited to play? For more information regarding this campaign please go to their website: http://askingsaveskids.org/
