THE MMS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM had a fantastic day on the course at our last meet of the season. The Girl’s Team came away as BI-State Champions and the Boy’s Team had an awesome 2nd place finish. Top performers included Korben Bujnicki (3rd) and Corey Johnson (4th) in the Boys’ Varsity race; Ava Hicke (4th) and Megan Poler (6th) in the Girls’ Varsity race; LynnSean Young (2nd) in the Boy’s JV race; Nicole Xiao (1st), Kennedy Thompson (2nd) and Amanda Pouchnik (3rd) in the Girl’s JV race, Cayden May (1st) in the 6th Grade race; and Lily Salow (1st), Audrey Pollard (3rd) and Rose Fountain (4th) in the Girl’s 6th Grade race. Great job, Cubs!
THE 7TH AND 8TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL girls ended their seasons with a fight last night against Sacajawea Junior High! Both teams showed spectacular growth and many wins were celebrated over the course of the season. The 7th grade team was UNDEFEATED and has been named Bi – State Champions! Amazing job, ladies! Your coaches are so proud of you all!
KICKBALL IS CANCELED TODAY due to the rain. Leadership is opening up kickball signups! They will now start today and close Tuesday. If you want to play, come by room 209 to sign up! If you have already signed up, you are still in the tournament. Winners of the tournament will get a prize! We will be restarting the games next week due to recent difficulties.
BACKPACKS ARE NOT ALLOWED in classrooms unless you receive permission from Mr. Hill or Mr. Henderson.
All students entering the building before 8:05 AM, must go to the MPR and get a pass to go to a teacher’s room or other areas of the building. Passes are not issued to go to lockers. Students without passes or who are mis-using the option to work in a classroom will lose the privilege of entering the building before 8:05.
