The Moscow School District’s Schools will be closed Today, Thursday March 9, 2017, because of poor driving conditions, downed wires, and fallen branches due to the current weather conditions.
Snow Day Make-Up
During the regularly scheduled monthly school board meeting on Tuesday night, January 24, the Moscow School District Board of Trustees voted to schedule one make-up day to compensate for the two days schools were closed due to poor weather conditions. On our 2016/17 School Calendar we had identified Friday, May 26th as Data Analysis Meetings / Snow Day Make-Up (If needed). With this in mind, May 26th will be a school day in the Moscow School District for students rather than a non-school day that was being used for Data Analysis meetings for staff.
We value the instructional time we have with the students within our district. However, we also understand that at times we cannot make up all the time lost without causing major scheduling problems within the district, as well as an additional burden for our families. We believe the rescheduling of one day will at least get us back closer to our original instructional time.
Once again, Friday, May 26th is rescheduled as a day school will be in session for the students in the Moscow School District. Thank you.
Let’s Build a Foundation for Our Future
Moscow Education Foundation, Inc. is reporting GREAT NEWS! They have raised nearly $3000 from over 50 people! However, they have shared with me that they NEED YOUR HELP to reach the initial $10,000 goal so they can begin granting funds to teachers and/or schools within the Moscow School District. As you are probably aware, education funding in Idaho is limited and this entity wants to support teachers in their innovative ideas for academically-based projects for students.

Insuring a brighter future by investing in our children.
